Since January 2019 Sonja Quaiser works as an assistant for the Chair of Technology Management. Sonja gained her experiences at several private sector companies. She was trained as an office communications clerk and worked in various positions in the automotive industry. Initially, she worked as a rental representative, then as an office manager for the branch of various car rental companies in the Nuremberg metropolitan region. Since December 2007 she was working as Assistant Sales Manager and thereafter in Technical Administration and Disposition, as well as Commercial Training Manager at the Nuremberg branch of Scania, which manufactures and sells commercial vehicles worldwide.
Working as a secretary includes in addition to routine administrative tasks budget management and third-party funds (funding agencies include: DFG, BMBF, etc.). Furthermore, Sonja Quaiser assists Professor Brem by organising meetings and project meetings as well as other events, the recruitment of student assistants and the cooperation with the examination office regarding bachelor, project and master theses which the chair supervises. (registrations, credit transmission etc.).
