Petra Nylund presents her research at the NCT

The Nuremberg Campus of Technology (NCT) is an interdisciplinary network that promotes cooperation and exchange between scientists from the FAU and the Technische Hochschule Nürnberg (THN). One event that supports this cooperation are the so-called poster presentations. With this concept, various scientists of the NCT present their research questions, methods and results by means of a poster. In the subsequent get-together, the scientists can discuss their research, common approaches or project ideas and establish new contacts.

Dr. Petra Nylund, PostDoc at the Chair of Technology Management, presented her research topic “Robot Returns – The impact of open innovation on turnover from automation”. The doctoral students Issam Attalah, who is working for three months as a guest PhD student at the Chair of Technology Management, as well as Michael Dunst and Claudio Gattari also presented their research results. They made contributions on the topic of hackathons (“Does open innovation generate collective intelligence? Evidence from hackathons”), as well as innovation and quality (” What impact do quality and innovation have on business success?”).
